The AL5000 is not only beautiful -  it's also incredibly functional. It's "power map" feature supports the easiest measurement of progressive lenses and UV transmission is measured simultaneously while measuring lens power. Results can then be printed out on the integrated silent high-speed printer.

An innovative Auto Table Lock function automatically locks the lens table when aligned with the optical centre, thereby simplifying measurement of cylinder axis and location of upper and lower prism. Highly-curved lenses and large spectacle frames can easily be accommodated on this instrument.
