Software solutions for labs
LabControl is a high power lab management software system for lens manufacturing and labs. It is suitable for a wide range of applications from an opticians workshop with just a few jobs per day to the major prescription producers with volumes into the thousands.
Weco LabControl is flexible and available in several versions:
LabControl LE (Limited Edition)
- Standard version supporting up to 8 serial ports
- MS SQL database
- Unlimited number of jobs, dependent upon size of hard disc
- Basic job administration
- Permenent job library including storage of drill data
- Interfaces to all Weco CNC equipment, current and former generations
- OMA compliant interface allowing industry standard connectivity
- Remote job entry possible via email (remote tracing)
LabControl LE Mini
- All features of LabControl LE but with connectivity up to 4 serial ports
LabControl Advanced
- All features of LabControl LE plus:
- Surfacing module
- Job tracking
- Stock management for finished lenses
- Stock management for lens blanks
- Delivery notes
- Invoicing and pricing
- Management Information System MIS
LabControl Extension Client
If more than 8 serial ports are required a simple extension client is used, providing up to 8 additional serial ports per client. Thereby more complex systems of unlimited capacity may be created, to encompass the demands of the large prescription producer.
LabControl ELOS
ELOS stands for Electronic Lens Oredring System and this software is for remote job entry, for example in an opticians dispensing area. An OMA compatible frame tracer (eg the Trace 3) is connected the the ELOS system and permits the optician to enter a validated spectacle order with tracer data for transmission to a central lab via email.
