Buchmann UK Opens Service Centre in the North
Buchmann UK, as part of its ongoing customer service development program, has opened a new Service Centre near York in September 2007. Managed jointly by Briot Sales Manager Dave Tate (pictured) and Technical Services Manager Robert Archer, the Buchmann Service Centre will provide a local service for opticians and laboratories in the north of the country.
The facility will also be our main reconditioning centre for Briot and WECO edging systems and associated devices and will be staffed by a team of experience engineers.
The facility is currently undergoing refitting and is expected to be in full operation during October 2007. However it's very much "business as usual" during this time and the centre is currently operating at full capacity providing a reconditioning and factory repair service for its customers, as well as a local supply facility for consumables, etc.
Sales Manager Dave Tate comments, "The Service Centre is an essential element of our service provision for customers in the north of the country and it ideally complements a similar facility in our head office in Kent. It's really part of our commitment to Excellence in Service, which I believe is the unique strength of our organisation" he added.
